For many years, Cleto Reyes Boxing has been renowned for producing their world-famous contest fight gloves filled with horsehair. However, the new Safetec Pro Fight Boxing Glove has been developed using innovative polyurethane foam technology to ensure consistency, just like the Cleto Reyes Traditional pro fight gloves. The added foam assists in reducing the force, acceleration, and vibration of punches. Strategically placed moulded polyurethane foam provides extra material in the punching area, protecting the hands and concentrating the weight of the glove in that region rather than in the wrist and thumb, as some gloves do.
The Safetec contest boxing gloves differ from the Traditional ones in terms of durability, making them suitable for pad work, bag work, and some sparring sessions.
They are available in 10oz. (super welter and up: 154 lbs. and up) and 8oz. (welterweight and lower: 105 to 147 lbs.) sizes, suitable for both men and women.
